net4all Scouting Party

Here's our review on net4all....

Reached at around 7. However majority only started to stream in at 7.30pm due to work commitments.

Ran 5 runs around 3 courts. No sweat but could do without it. Did 1 ball drill. Run straight, sharp turn & run to receive ball.

Formed into groups & started playing. There were a total of an estimated 30 people - girls boys old young....Had a total of 4 groups pitted against each other.

Verdict of the game:

It isn't as tiring as our normal games as everyone was playing their own roles, meaning no aimless headless chicken running around. Players stayed in their own zones, meaning no crossing of flanks & clashing. e.g. WA running into GA's zone

The coach (aka LOM = Little Old Man) or Mr Liew came across as sarcastic or anal....because he said rather sarcastically in Chinese "The 3 of you pretty ladies come here to play or sit?" Cos we were sitting at the side chatting while the rest were shooting hoops.

He coached while we played, providing comments & guidance.

We feel that it would be good if the team could come down for a session to see the organisation & flow of the game. Looks pretty neat as there's no clashing.
