Updates on this Sunday's outing

Hello! As discussed with Lydia, I have decided to shift the meeting up time at Harbourfront MRT to 8.30AM instead of 9AM so that in case you guys need to eat breakfast/buy stuff/wake up late, the fellas who are driving in at 9.45AM won't have to be kept waiting. :)

May I check who are the ones who are meeting up in Harbourfront? Do log in and add in the necessary details so that we can check out the updated stuff easily. :D

DIANA'S AND RACHEL'S NAPFA!!

HELLO EVERYONE!

This post is just to update you WAs (working adults) on our little lives, that your two school-going girls here PASSED THEIR NAPFA, of course with a little bit of help here and there!! *wink wink.

AND ALSO, NOT FORGETTING ALL THE NETBALL PRACTICES, WHICH MORPHED US BOTH INTO FITTER PEOPLE!

We must say all the running during netball really helped us in our 2.4km, else it would have been impossible for us to get an A!

And Rachel, would like to personally thank our dear Leedia, for making her run so much at times when she had to guard her.

And and and and, you guys are supposed to confirm your attendance with dear Rachel if you all are coming for 30th August's outing! She's upset that no one is coming. Haha. Come on people, don't bullly our dear little girl, our youngest kiddo. She's a little irritating these days though, due to hormonal imbalance. *hint hint.

Just a little reminder to Sherie, work starts on Friday babe!

I know this is kinda early, but this is the tentative plan for the aug outing.

30th Aug Sat
In the morning, there will be netball.
Have lunch.
Head down to jurong to skate.
Have dinner.
(IF you guys are up for it we can go for a ktv session after dinner. Let me know so I can try to get a room earlier to avoid disapointment for THOSE who want to sing)*winks at shaun, cass and zi ling.

It's CONFIRMED!

Hi guys! I hope you guys had fun today at the Sembawang game! Sorry i couldn't join in as I was involved with the K1 selection stuff. :(

Anyways, I have decided to confirm the date for our Sentosa Outing as the longer I drag this, the possibility of making this possible will get lesser.. Therefore, in order to facilitate Marcus' and Shaun's car, I have decided to put it on this coming SUNDAY, 3 AUGUST 2008.

What: Sun tanning-picnic-talk cock-play-games session
Where: Siloso Beach (or Tanjong also can, depending you guys like the Cafe Del Mar hunks, or the KM8 ones :P)
Time: 9AM, meet at Harbourfront Control (for those who are taking train)
9.45AM, meet at entrance of Cafe Del Mar (for those who are driving!)

What to bring:
Random food stuff - nuggets, sausages, chicken wings, bee hoon, fried rice, takopachi.. etc etc. Aiyah, whatever you guys wanna bring that morning, just bring! Potato chips and other tidbits also can!

** Remember iced water! :D

Personal stuff - mat, bikinis, board shorts, shampoo, shower foam, sunglasses, suntan oil, sunblock, radio, speakers, your cute little (or large, for Shaun's case. :P) dogs!

Fun stuff - I'm planning for a few games, like beach volleyball and beach netball. Anything else you guys would like to add? Maybe can bring poker cards as well for a game of daidee! Hahaha! I was thinking of Twister as well, but I wonder anyone has the game set? Let me know!

You guys are so gonna kill me

Ok now JAC THE CHIOBU has a problem. We've decided on Sunday to be our July outing righttttttt... but Jac very happily went to take part in some competition, and in the end, I just found out yesterday that the finals is going to be on THIS SUNDAY! T____T

That means, I wouldn't be able to attend an outing I planned. WTF right?

So, in order to salvage my mistakes and YES I SO WANT TO GO HAVE FUN WITH YOU GUYS AND GIRLSSSS!!! May I ask if everyone will be free on the first Sunday of August (3rd Aug), so I'm kinda pushing it back so that I can attend.. :(

So here's some of the suggestions I can think of:

1. Continue the outing so I'd only be able to join you guys and girls for dinner

2. Postphone the outing to 3rd August with me making some nice food to make it up to all of you happy people!

On another note, the competition I'm taking part in is the K1 Ambassador shit, and this Sunday is the finals right? It's opened to public, and you guys can get to go-kart (for free, I think.) so I thought it might be quite an experience to go kart around! :D

HELLO! This is Jacqualine in the house, the organiser for our outing for the month of July!

I wanted to talk to you all when I see all of you during netball sessions (more sincerity mahhhhh) but we always don't have full attendance leh. :(

Net4all Part 2

Yup. Totally agree with what Sherie said about Net4all.

Think for those of you looking to play better, improve your game or fine-tune your skills, you might wana consider coming down. The coach (aka LOM) will point out stuff and somehow there is coordination and teamwork though we have never played with some of them.

Like what Sherie mentioned, everyone was playing their position pretty well so you don't have to run like mad. More tactical. There's alot to learn so if we are really interested to join competitions, carnivals etc, this will definitely help us to up our game.

Overall, I had fun. And I think I can speak for Shaun and Sherie too? Sherie misses the hee-hee-hah-hah part though.

net4all Scouting Party

Here's our review on net4all....

Reached at around 7. However majority only started to stream in at 7.30pm due to work commitments.

Ran 5 runs around 3 courts. No sweat but could do without it. Did 1 ball drill. Run straight, sharp turn & run to receive ball.

Formed into groups & started playing. There were a total of an estimated 30 people - girls boys old young....Had a total of 4 groups pitted against each other.

Verdict of the game:

It isn't as tiring as our normal games as everyone was playing their own roles, meaning no aimless headless chicken running around. Players stayed in their own zones, meaning no crossing of flanks & clashing. e.g. WA running into GA's zone

The coach (aka LOM = Little Old Man) or Mr Liew came across as sarcastic or anal....because he said rather sarcastically in Chinese "The 3 of you pretty ladies come here to play or sit?" Cos we were sitting at the side chatting while the rest were shooting hoops.

He coached while we played, providing comments & guidance.

We feel that it would be good if the team could come down for a session to see the organisation & flow of the game. Looks pretty neat as there's no clashing.

Will provide more comments but haha i got to sleep my KFC off. Ciaos!
